SHATKARMAS – THE SIX PURIFICATION METHOD
Starting a yogic lifestyle requires proper cleansing of the body, including the physical body, digestive system, and nervous system. These cleansing practices help to remove toxins from the body and prepare it for the rigors of yoga practice. The ancient yogic cleansing techniques, also known as shatkarmas, play a crucial role in enhancing our overall practice of yoga. By performing these shatkarmas, we can purify our body, mind, and energy channels, thereby allowing us to reach deeper levels of yoga practice and we can achieve greater levels of physical, mental, and spiritual health and well-being.
In our yoga training in Pokhara Nepal , we provide detailed instruction and guidance on various shatkarmas, including:
• Neti (nasal cleansing),
• Dhauti (cleansing of the digestive tract),
• Basti (cleansing of the colon),
• Trataka (concentration and eye cleansing),
• Kapalabhati (breathing techniques for cleansing), and
• Nauli (abdominal massage).
BANDAS – BODY LOCKS
The Bandhas (locks) serve various functions. They strengthen the physical posture and help to release the energetic knots found in the Granthis. You may think of them as valves that work similarly to the valves within the circulatory system. When engaging the locks energy can be directed to move more readily through Sushumna. The locks can also encourage energy to spread more fully through the Nadis. In this yoga training in Pokhara Nepal we will teach you given bandas;
• Jandhara Bandha
• Uddiyana Bandha
• Mula Bandha
• Ashvini Mudra
MEDITATION
Meditation is the practice of achieving clear awareness or mindfulness in the present moment. During meditation, practitioners learn to let go of their mental and emotional reactions and surrender to the present. Through continuous practice, one can become a master of their being and gain insight into their true nature, no longer a slave to the mind. In this multistyle yoga and meditation training in Pokhara Nepal , we will introduce various types of meditation such as
• Dynamic
• Tratak
• Mindfulness
• Yoga Nindra (Conscious Sleep)
