• Nauli (abdominal massage).

Our Teacher training program is offered at  himalayan forest resort located only  miles from Pokhara. Resident during the teacher training offers peaceful and relaxed environment with pure and clean air. Combining modern and characteristically Nepali architecture, this boutique property offers a cool and relaxed environment accompanied with splendid views of the Himalayan mountains .Fitted with a balcony offering hill views, a wardrobe and an private bathroom with bath and shower facilities, toiletries, and a hairdryer and speed Wi-Fi.

Visa Information

Visa Information for Nepal (Visa on Arrival)

When travelling to Nepal, you have several options for obtaining your visa:

1. Visa on Arrival: You can acquire your visa upon arrival at various entry points, including:

Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu

Border entry points in Kakadvitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki on Nepal-India border, and Kodari on the Nepal-China border.

2. Apply Online: You can also apply for a tourist visa online through this website: http://online.nepalimmigration.gov.np/tourist-visa.

3. Visit the Nepal Embassy or Diplomatic Mission: Obtain your visa at the nearest Nepal Embassy or Diplomatic Mission before your trip.

4. In-Person Application: If you need to renew your visa while in Nepal, you can do so at the Department of Immigration, located in Kalikasthan, Kathmandu, or in Pokhara.

Visa Requirements:

To obtain your visa, you will need:

A valid passport

One passport-size photo with a light background (size requirements are not specified)

Visa Fees:

The visa fees are as follows:

15 days: US$ 25 or equivalent convertible currency

30 days: US$ 40 or equivalent convertible currency

90 days: US$ 100 or equivalent convertible currency

Free Visa for 30 Days:

Nationals of South Asian countries, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, are eligible for a free visa for a duration of 30 days.

 Arrival Information

1. Arrival by Aeroplane:

For those arriving by plane, please book your flight from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu to Pokhara International Airport. The flight duration is 30 min. Upon your arrival at the airport, we will provide pick up service to reach our retreat venue in Pokhara:

2. Arrival by Bus/ Car 

If you are travelling by bus, your journey begins in Kathmandu (Thamel) and Pokhara Bus station  we will provide a pick-up service to our retreat location.  The travelling time by bus or car from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes 7-9 hours depending on traffic. 

3. Pick Up from accommodation in Pokhara 

Once you confirm the bookings with us. We will provide a pickup service in our van to our retreat venue. After 30 min of driving, we will reach to our majestic eco-forest resort.

Climate and Seasons in Nepal

Nepal, nestled in the Himalayas, offers a diverse climate and a stunning backdrop for yoga programs. Understanding the climate and seasons is crucial for planning a yoga retreat or teacher training in this enchanting country. Here’s a detailed guide to Nepal’s climate and seasons:

1. Spring (March to May):

Climate: Spring in Nepal is delightful, with mild temperatures and clear skies. It’s considered one of the best times to visit.

Yoga Programs: Spring is an excellent season for yoga retreats and teacher training. The pleasant weather allows for outdoor sessions and trekking in the Himalayan foothills.

2. Summer (June to August):

Climate: Summer in Nepal is the monsoon season. It brings heavy rainfall and humid conditions, especially in the lowlands.

Yoga Programs: While the monsoon season isn’t the ideal time for outdoor yoga activities, it can still be suitable for indoor programs, Yoga retreats, teacher training and meditation retreats.

3. Autumn (September to November):

Climate: Autumn is another fantastic season in Nepal. The skies are clear, and temperatures are moderate, making it a popular tourist season.

Yoga Programs: Autumn is perfect for yoga retreats and teacher training programs. The comfortable weather allows for outdoor yoga sessions and treks with stunning mountain views.

4. Winter (December to February):

Climate: Winter in Nepal is chilly, especially in the higher elevations. The lowlands have milder temperatures, but it can still get cold.

Yoga Programs: While winter is less popular for outdoor activities due to the cold, it’s an excellent time for intensive indoor yoga teacher training and meditation retreats. The crisp mountain air can provide a refreshing experience.

5. Pre-Monsoon (March to May):

Climate: Pre-monsoon is characterized by rising temperatures and occasional showers, signaling the onset of the monsoon season.

Yoga Programs: This period is great for yoga programs, especially in March and April. The weather is still pleasant, and the landscape is lush and green.

6. Post-Monsoon (September to November):

Climate: After the monsoon season, Nepal experiences a post-monsoon period with clear skies and refreshing greenery.

Yoga Programs: This is an excellent time for rejuvenating yoga retreats. The landscapes are revitalized, and the weather is comfortable.

Currency

Currency in Nepal

  1. Nepalese Rupee (NPR): The official currency of Nepal is the Nepalese Rupee, abbreviated as NPR.
  2. Currency Exchange:  You can exchange foreign currency into Nepalese Rupees at authorized banks, currency exchange counters, and even some hotels in major cities and popular tourist areas.
  3.  ATMs : Nepal or pokhara city  has a well-developed network of ATMs, especially in urban areas like Kathmandu and Pokhara. International debit and credit cards are widely accepted at ATMs, making it convenient for travelers to withdraw cash in local currency.
  4. Credit Card Usage: Credit cards, such as Visa and MasterCard, are generally accepted at upscale hotels, restaurants,  And our retreat place.  However, it’s important to note that many smaller businesses, local shops, and rural areas may not accept credit cards. Cash is the preferred payment method in such locations.
  5. Currency Tips: Exchange money at reputable banks or authorized exchange counters to avoid counterfeit currency. Check exchange rates and fees charged by exchange facilities to ensure you get a fair rate.
Terms & Conditions

Payment and Fees:

• Full payment is due before the start of the retreat.

• Payments are non-refundable  unless the course is cancelled by the school.

How to pay?

You can pay in USD/ NRS cash or via electronic cards on arrival.

Payment guide

Upon arrival, you must pay the full cost in cash in Npr, USD, or via electronic cards.

 

Changes and Alterations:

• The training school reserves the right to make changes and alterations to the schedule as needed.

• The training school is not responsible for changes or alterations due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters, political unrest, or transportation delays.

Health and Liability:

• Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during the course.

Cancellation and Refunds:

• The school reserves the right to cancel the course due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.

• In the event of cancellation by the school, participants will receive a full refund.

• Participants who withdraw from the retreats or training Programs for any reason will  not eligible for a refund.
